課程概述

We read excerpts from Greek tragedy, Old Comedy, Virgil's _Aeneid_, the New Testament, Ovid's _Metamorphoses_, St. Augustine's _Confessions_, and Dante's _Divine Comedy_ this term. 

課程目標
This course aims to help identify the imprints on contemporary Western culture of Greco-Roman, Christian, and Medieval traditions.
 
課程要求
Attendance is required and participation rewarded by extra credits. Students are encouraged to share ideas and resources either in class or on Forum. Quizzes, a midterm, a final, and individual plus group reports add up to 90% of the final grade.
